Life is Strange: Before the Storm Gets 20 Minutes of Gameplay

Following its premiere during Microsoft’s E3 Media Briefing this past Sunday, Square Enix published 20 minutes of gameplay footage for Life is Strange prequel, Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm takes place 3 years before the events of the first game in the fictional setting of Arcadia Bay, Oregon. Whereas Life is Strange saw players control teenager Max Caulfield, the prequel finds players as rebellious 16-year-old Chloe Price, a returning character from the original, who forms an unlikely friendship with another integral character of Life is Strange, the popular Rachel Amber.

During the 20-minute long video, we get to witness 3 separate scenes from the first episode ‘Awake’, showcasing some of the game’s environments including an abandoned mill, overlook and an important area of the first game.

The first of three episodes for Life is Strange: Before the Storm – ‘Awake’ debuts August 31st, 2017 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
