Newly announced at EA’s Play conference, Battlefield 1 is set to get a new DLC pack called In The Name of the Tsar, focusing on the eastern front of World War I.
The plethora of content set to come with the pack includes six new maps, along with new vehicles, 11 new weapons, and a new mode called Supply Drop. Additionally, players will play as the Russian Army including the Women’s Battalion of Death, the first time female players have been playable in the series. In The Name of the Tsar will release this summer as part of the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass.
Apart from the upcoming pack, Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owners will have an additional two night-time maps coming. This month, Nivelle Nights will release and in July, Prise de Tahure will release for a total of eight maps available for Premium Pass owners.
Additionally, a new competitive mode was teased, but no further details were given during the conference. Instead, Gamescom is where that mode will be detailed.
Battlefield 1 released worldwide on October 21st, 2016 on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PCs via Origin.
