Today during the Nintendo E3 2017 Showcase, Nintendo and developer Psyonix announced that Rocket League will be making its way to Nintendo Switch with some added features.
Much like Rocket League on other consoles, the Nintendo Switch version will offer Mario and Luigi hats to place on top of cars, as well as currently unknown exclusive cars. Additionally, you can play in local multiplayer using multiple Switch consoles. But most unexpected is that Rocket League for Nintendo Switch will play nice with other platforms. These have been confirmed through Rocket League’s website as being compatible with Steam and Xbox One. For those keeping track, that means Minecraft and Rocket League will both offer cross-platform play on Nintendo Switch.
Rocket League is expected to hit the Nintendo Switch sometime this holiday season.
