DontNod Entertainment’s action RPG Vampyr has been delayed until Spring 2018, the developer has announced.
The Life is Strange developers eagerly anticipated title will now release early next year for PS4, Xbox One and PC with DontNod CEO Oskar Guilbert citing a ‘technical issue’ as the reason behind the delay.
“Delaying the release of a project you hold dear is always a tough decision,” explained Guilbert.”However, we believe that meeting a deadline should never compromise quality. We were still convinced just a few weeks ago that we would be able to release Vampyr this year. Unfortunately, a technical issue – now solved – has set our teams’ schedule back at the end of the development.”
Vampyr was originally scheduled to launch in November 2017 but will now release next Spring giving the developer further time to polish and balance the story-driven action game ahead of its newfound release date.
Vampyr will be available Spring 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
