Action Tower Defense RPG Dungeon Defenders II Gets Late June Release Date for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Action-tower defense RPG Dungeon Defenders II will launch on PS4, Windows PC via Steam, and for the first time, Xbox One on June 20th, developer Trendy Entertainment has announced.

Drawing inspiration from many aspects of past tower defense and RPG games, Dungeon Defenders II, a free-to-play title, features classic elements such as loot, pets, a variety of Heroes to level up and more.

Currently available as a Steam Early Access title for Windows PC and early access on the PS4, Dungeon Defenders II places heavy importance on building up player defenses to assist in survival against waves of enemies that get progressively tougher, while also working with other players to fight actively on the move.

We’re very excited to finally be able to bring the Dungeon Defenders franchise back to the Xbox platform,” said Marco Busse, Chief Executive Officer at Trendy Entertainment. “Dungeon Defenders II expands on the combination of shared action and tactics that made the original game so enjoyable, and that experience has only continued to evolve as we’ve grown it alongside our incredible community through early access.”

Dungeon Defenders II can be played in both single-player or cooperatively with modes for up to four players online.

Whilst the game will be free-to-play across all platforms, it will be supported by microtransactions including new heroes, costumes, tower skins, pets, inventory space and more.

Dungeon Defenders II will launch on June 20th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
