Wipeout Inspired Racer Redout Available July 25th in North America on Nintendo Switch According to Amazon Update

Redout, the spiritual successor to Wipeout and F-Zero will launch for Nintendo Switch on July 25th in North America, according to an update on Amazon.

Originally it had looked as if the game would be delayed until the end of 2017 after an initial Spring 2017 release window was slated, but now it appears the fast-paced racer port will arrive on Nintendo Switch this Summer.

Developed by 34 Big Things and released on PC in 2016, Redout is a tribute to futuristic games of the nineties such as Wipeout and F-Zero with an uncompromising mixture of fast and tough arcade racing.

Interestingly, Amazon list Redout as a September 1st, 2017 release on PS4 and Xbox One.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
