Nintendo Pulls No Punches with ARMS Version 1.1.0 Update; Adds LAN Play Support and Arena Mode

Nintendo has rolled out an update for ARMS on Nintendo Switch.

ARMS debuted just 10 days ago for Nintendo Switch but already Nintendo is addressing issues and adding features for its newest IP.

ARMS Version 1.1.0 Update introduces LAN Play support, pitting players against fellow users within the same local area connection. To access LAN Play players will need to press the left stick and then push both L and R while at the main menu to switch to LAN Play.

Another addition sees the introduction of Arena Mode whereby players can take turns fighting in one-on-one matches in either Friend, Local Communication, and LAN Play. With a maximum of 4 players allowed to compete, those not participating can still enjoy the ensuing chaos from the sidelines with the “Spectate” option.

Additionally, Version 1.1.0 fixes a handful of issues with the game itself such as continuously charging when riding the snakeboard as Kid Cobra and fixing the speech of Biff to say “ARMS Grand Prix” rather than “AMRS Grand Prix”.

ARMS is available now for Nintendo Switch.
