Beyond Good & Evil 2 Unlikely to be Shown at E3 2017 Says Michel Ancel

It might be in development, but don’t expect to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 at the Convention Centre in L.A this June.

Following plenty of speculation and teases, Beyond Good & Evil creator Michel Ancel and Ubisoft finally confirmed the development of a sequel to 2013’s single player action adventure title last October.

However, despite announcing that development was currently ongoing with Ubisoft Montpellier for Beyond Good & Evil 2, Ancel doesn’t believe the game will be shown in any capacity at E3 2017, taking place in Los Angeles in less than 3 weeks time.

When asked on Instagram whether Beyond Good & Evil 2 would make an appearance at this year’s expo, Ancel replied: “Mhhh, not sure that E3 would be the best place to showcase Bg&e2 but we’re working on the game so sometime this year, you should hear about it!

At this time it is unclear which platforms Beyond Good & Evil 2 is being developed for, or how far along that development process is.

Ubisoft will hold its annual E3 conference on June 12th at 13:00 p.m PST where it is expected to showcase many of its upcoming games including Far Cry 5, the next title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, South Park: The Fractured But Whole and Crew 2.

Dan has been gaming for nearly 30 years and has survived everything from Nuclear Fallouts to Zombie Outbreaks but his main love is Survival Horror and don't we all know it. Favourite games include Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto, he can be regularly found cruising the streets of Vice City listening to the classics.
