PlayStation players who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition can today access Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered digitally for PS4, 30 days before Infinite Warfare becomes available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
As part of a timed exclusive deal with Sony, PS4 users will be able once again take on the role of Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish and various other characters in one of Call of Duty‘s greatest campaigns to date. Originally released in 2007 for Xbox 360 and PS3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare story takes place after a civil war breaks out between Russia’s government and ultranationalists seeking to restore the country to its former glory.
Currently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is not be sold separately although both publisher and developer could release the game as a standalone at a later date.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launch November 4th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
