Although it might at first have seemed a nailed on certainty, neither Sony nor Activision actually confirmed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as a PlayStation Exclusive, despite the iconic marsupial’s long-time affinity with Sony’s family of consoles.
Yesterday, a Tweet posted by PlayStation Ireland seemingly confirmed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as a PS4 Exclusive. That particular Tweet was then removed and replaced with a new Tweet that leans heavily in the opposite direction – with the collection possibly being a PS4 timed exclusive.
will launch on 30th June 2017. To clarify our earlier post, it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first.

Judging from the posted Tweet, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is now likely a timed exclusive on PS4 and PS4 Pro before making an appearance on Xbox One, PC, and quite possibly Nintendo Switch.
The first 3 Crash Bandicoot titles were all developed by Uncharted creator Naughty Dog and released exclusively on PlayStation, but subsequent main series entries launched on additional consoles including Xbox. With publisher Activision now in possession of the rights to Crash, the Crash Bandicoot collection will most likely release on multiple platforms in the future.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available June 30th on PS4 and PS4 Pro.
