Dead Alliance Multiplayer Open Beta Announced; Live Now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Psyop Games and IllFonic’s team based shooter Dead Alliance begins a free multiplayer open beta on Xbox One, PS4 and PC today, publisher Maximum Games has announced.

An open beta will run from today (July 27th) through to July 31st and will feature 3 different game modes – Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Attrition, an MOBA inspired mode. The open beta can be downloaded by following this link.

IllFonic, who is also a co-developer with Gun Media for Friday the 13th: The Game recently came under fire with owners of the game fearing the studio had ceased support in favour of developing Dead Alliance. A statement followed the outcry with IllFonic reassuring players that it had not walked away from the asymmetrical 7v1 game and had a smaller team developing Dead Alliance before Friday the 13th was released back in May.

Set in an apocalyptic wasteland, Dead Alliance features unique zombie controlling tech called zMods that players can use against the opposition for a variety of attacks in battle. At launch, Dead Alliance will feature both single player and 4v4 multiplayer modes including Team Deathmatch, Attrition, King of the Hill, Capture and Hold, Free for All and Solo Survival.

Dead Alliance is slated for release on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC August 29th and is available to pre-order now for £29.99 at major retailers and online.
