Death Stranding to Run at Native 4K on PS4 Pro; 4K Direct-Feed Trailer Released

Earlier today, famed developer Hideo Kojima presented a new teaser trailer for his open world game – Death Stranding during The Game Awards 2016.

Collecting the prestigious 2016 Industry Icon award after his much-maligned absence at last year’s ceremony, Kojima showcased a beautiful but equally creepy trailer for Death Stranding, game boasting a cast list which includes Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen and Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.

Following the presentation, The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley announced that Kojima Productions first developed title would run at a native 4K on PS4 Pro, with the studio releasing a direct-feed of the teaser trailer in all of its 4K glory shortly afterwards.

Death Stranding has no official release date as of now but will release as a timed exclusive for PS4 before arriving on PC at a later date.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
