Guardians will be able to fight for the Traveler on Windows PCs starting October 24th, when Destiny 2 releases on Battle.net.
That date represents about a six-week delay from the console versions of the sci-fi shooter. However, starting on August 29th until the 31st, PC players will have the chance to try the PC Open Beta on Battle.net. Those that pre-order will be able to play one day early on the 28th. Included, will be the opening story mission, a co-op strike, and, of course, competitive multiplayer. On PC, players will have access to 4K resolutions and an uncapped frame rate.
Destiny 2 is developed by Bungie, and continues the universe introduced in the original Destiny that released September 9th, 2014. The sequel will be releasing on PS4, and Xbox One in addition to Windows PCs.
