Bandai Namco have announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will make it’s way to the Nintendo Switch this September 22nd worldwide.
The fighting game will sport new features just for the Switch, including motion controls wth the Joy-Con controllers, a 6-player local mode that requires multiple consoles, and the ability to use individual Joy-Cons to play with a friend on the same console. This also marks only the second platform available for Japan, as no Xbox One or PC versions were released in the country.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 sees the player work with the Elder Kai in order to correct history after some villains attempt to ruin the Z fighter’s victories. The fighter title features an immense roster of 126 characters to choose from before four DLC packs.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 originally launched on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PCs via Steam in the autumn of 2016. It’s presently unknown if the four DLC packs will be made available with this release, but the title will have competition from Nintendo itself. It will release and compete for fighting fan’s attention with Pokken Tournament DX.
