Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Heading West in 2018

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will head to the west in 2018, Square Enix has announced.

The announcement comes via a video message to Dragon Quest fans from series creator Yuji Horii who confirmed that localisation work had begun, with English, one of the 5 languages available.

Whilst no platforms were discussed for a western release, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age launched on July 29th in Japan for Nintendo 3DS and PS4 with a bundle pack sold separately and a Nintendo Switch release is confirmed, but no release date has been set as of yet.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, which features character art by famed manga artist Akira Toriyama and music from beloved series composer Koichi Sugiyama, follows the adventure of a hero who must solve the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charming cast of supporting characters.

Dan has been gaming for nearly 30 years and has survived everything from Nuclear Fallouts to Zombie Outbreaks but his main love is Survival Horror and don't we all know it. Favourite games include Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto, he can be regularly found cruising the streets of Vice City listening to the classics.
