Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed Downloaded 6M Times; Major Update Adds New Campaign, Conquest Regions and More

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed has received its first major content update, Nexon, XPEC Entertainment and Koei Tecmo Games has announced.

The first major content update introduces a new campaign, additional regions for Conquest, new dungeons and advanced character growth options to the iconic combat action series.

Players will be able to experience The Battle of Red Cliff: Part 1, a new campaign featuring a classic battle in the Dynasty Warriors storyline of the Three Kingdoms, adding 10 new stages alongside two new Warriors – Pang Tong and Han Dang.

The update also makes changes to the Guild Dungeon, Growth Dungeon and adds new regions for Conquest Mode. Players will now be able to use Guild Points to open the Guild Dungeon where they will engage in cooperative battles with other Guild members to complete each challenging stage and unearth valuable rewards. The new feature for Growth Dungeon offers players a new objective each day to complete, while a new map for Chronicle Mode provides better rewards in a challenging new arena.

With nearly 5 million 4 player PvP battles taking place in its Skirmish mode, the developer is introducing 1v1 real-time PvP to Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed, to offer competitive players the opportunity to test their skills in head-to-head combat.

Lastly, players are now able to combine duplicate officers in the Officer Fusion system to harness their strength and create a more powerful character, as well as utilise the option to change their officer’s Element.

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed has amassed 6m downloads in the 7 weeks following its launch as a free download on iPad, iPhone and Android.
