Even Kingdom Hearts is Poking Fun at Its Own Hectic Timeline

To many, Kingdom Hearts is a beautiful combination of thoroughly enjoyable combat, set in some of Disney’s greatest settings. A magical but also dark place where Disney’s best-loved characters Mickey, Donald, Goofy and co meet the narrative style of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy, with fantastic results.

Over twenty entries, including re-releases, have been launched across a variety of platforms since The Kingdom Hearts saga first began in 2002, and as a result, its storyline has become one of utter confusion with endless betrayals, clones, body-swapping, memory loss and so many kingdoms.

The Kingdom Hearts series has become one to love and adore but also one to hurt the heads of the majority of players attempting to unravel its many plot twists.

With so many titles, spin-offs and available platforms, Kingdom Hearts timeline (seen below) is at the very least exhausting to look at.

As you would expect from social media, the sharing of the condensed timeline above brought about some rather funny responses.

Kingdom Hearts 3, the next main installment in the series is currently in development and is expected to release late 2017, early 2018.
