Final Just Cause 3 Developer Diary shows what the Avalanche Engine is capable of

Throughout the last few months, Avalanche Studios have been releasing short developer diary based videos with the team discussing different aspects of the soon to be released Just Cause 3, today that series comes to an end with the final video taking a look at the technology behind the game: the Avalanche Engine. Avalanche Studios talk about the combination of mechanics the engine allows for, procedural destruction models and enemy AI behaviours, the final video is an amazing insight into how the Avalanche Studios team have brought Just Cause 3 to life.

Linus Blomberg, CTO at Avalanche Studios had the following to say;

Just Cause 3’s PC Spec Requirements have also been released.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K, 3.3 GHz / AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3 GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 (2 GB) / AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB)

Recommended Specifications

OS: Vista SP2, Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit required)
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) / AMD R9 290 (4 GB)

Just Cause 3 is due for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and high-end PCs December 1st, 2015.
