Friday the 13th: The Game’s Friends and Family PC beta will now finish on December 24th after an extension was made for Kickstarter backers suffering issues with the games servers, Gun Media has announced.
For backers of the multiplayer game based off of the 80’s slasher movies, the ‘Friends and Family’ beta was meant to be the first chance for investors to check out the brutal game first hand, however, some backers have been left waiting after problems occurred with the in-game servers, something Gun Media is looking to address with an extension now in place that will see the beta end of December 24th.
“We’re sorting through some backend server stuff to make sure you guys have the best experience possible. We’re very sorry for the Friends & Family Beta delay. The crew at Illfonic & Gun have been, and are working around the clock to fix the issue,” said the developer.
We thought it was only fair that we extend the beta an extra day to make sure each of you have enough time stalking/dying at Crystal Lake.”
Friday the 13th: The Game is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
