The worlds of Fallout, DOOM and Skyrim will take on a whole new meaning this Fall, with the trio set for release on VR platforms between November and December.
Skyrim VR will be the first Bethesda title to emerge into virtual reality, with a release date penned for November 17th, but only on PSVR. id Software’s bloody splatterfest DOOM makes a return early December with DOOMVFR shotgunning its way onto PSVR and HTC Vive December 1st. Lastly, players with an HTC Vive headset can experience the beauty or destruction of Boston with Fallout VR releasing December 12th exclusively for the headset.
All 3 titles arrive slightly later than their predicted October release dates and will all be playable ahead of each games respective launch at QuakeCon in Dallas, kicking off tomorrow (August 24th). Furthermore, all owners of DOOM on PC will still need to purchase DOOMVFR, same goes for Fallout and Skyrim with all 3 only available as standalone purchases.
Skyrim VR releases November 17th for PSVR before DOOMVFR on December 1st and Fallout VR for HTC Vive on December 12th.
