Gamescom 2017: Headquarters Mode Showcased for Call of Duty: WWII

At Gamescom 2017 in Cologne today, developer Sledgehammer Games revealed a new video for Call of Duty: WWII‘s social hub – Headquarters Mode.

Shaped on the Allies’ Normandy beach encampment shortly after D-Day, Headquarters Mode will be a 48 player dedicated social space for WWII where CoD players can come together in harmony to interact, socialise and share war stories, practice their skills on the firing range, watch live Call of Duty eSport match ups in the theatre, and much more.

A Private Multiplayer Beta for Call of Duty: WWII begins for PS4 players on August 25th with a second beta arriving shortly after for Xbox One and PS4 players, although Headquarters Mode will not feature in either.

Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd, 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
