Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Sets New Ubisoft Beta Record; 6.8 Unique Players Involved Across All Phases

Ubisoft has announced that its recent beta phases and technical test for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands pulled in over 6.8 million unique players across Xbox One, PS4 and PC, a record for Ubisoft.

Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed, Open Beta and technical test offered players the chance to begin their fight against the vicious Santa Blanca cartel early by exploring two of the 21 available provinces in Ubisoft’s largest action open-world game.

Over the course of all phases, more than 2 billion minutes were played, with over 60% of participating players opting to play the game with a squad in co-op ahead of the game’s full launch on March 7th.

Additionally, as a thank-you to all players who participated in the technical test, Closed Beta or Open Beta, Ubisoft is offering access to the Unidad Conspiracy reward, which contains three exclusive missions set in the Media Luna region, one of the Unidad strongholds. The reward will be available for download to players post-launch.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is available March 7th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
