HITMAN January Update Introduces Professional Difficulty; Available at Retail Launch

Today IO-Interactive announced that it will introduce Professional Difficulty to HITMAN with its January Update, to coincide with the release of HITMAN The Complete First Season on disc for Xbox One and PS4 on January 31st.

The life of the world’s finest assassin is sure to become that little bit tougher with the introduction of Professional Difficulty Level, offering players increased challenge when it comes to tracking down and eliminating each target. Professional Difficulty comes with its own mastery track and unique rewards, tweaked game mechanics and new A.I behaviour, creating an entirely new experience for all would-be assassins.

Difficulty spikes often come with their own set of rules, and HITMAN is certainly no different. With strict item rules to deter players from carrying suspicious objects out in the open, disguises, which can be easily ruined depending on how the NPC died while wearing the item of clothing, new security camera rules, limited save files and more. Professional Difficulty will prove to be a worthy opponent for any player looking for something extra.

As a note, players will need to have reached Mastery Level 20 with each location to unlock Professional Difficulty, with the difficulty level available on all locations except Prologue.

HITMAN The Complete First Season is available on January 31st on the PS4 and Xbox One.
