Guerilla Games open-world RPG adventure game, Horizon Zero Dawn is shaping up to be one of the must-have games of 2017. Launching early next year, the PS4 exclusive, which features a beautifully designed world overrun with large robots was showcased brilliantly with its latest trailer, shown during Sony Interactive Entertainment’s recent PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California with that minute and three-quarters trailer further emphasising the much-warranted hype surrounding the game.
With PlayStation Experience now over for another year, the publisher has shared some 1920x1080p screenshots captured from Horizon Zero Dawn‘s ‘The Machines’ trailer for a closer inspection at how stunning Guerilla Games open-world adventure truly is.
Although Horizon Zero Dawn won’t support PS4 Pro with a native 4K resolution, Zero Dawn Art director, Jan-Bart Van Beek has confirmed that the game’s resolution would be “so close” to 4K that most players wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Horizon Zero Dawn will be rendering 2160p checkerboard, a special technique that according to the developer looks incredible when running on a 4K TV.
Horizon Zero Dawn is scheduled to release February 28th, 2017 in North America, March 1st in Europe and 3rd in the United Kingdom.
