Tripwire Interactives zombie romp Killing Floor 2 will arrive for Xbox One this August, Koch Media has announced.
Originally released for PS4 and PC in November of 2016, Killing Floor 2 which pits players off against swarms of zeds in a brutal battle for survival, will now head to Microsoft’s home console on August 29th and will also support Xbox One X.
Killing Floor 2 will arrive with console specific exclusive content for the Xbox One including the Freezethrower that allows players to spray zeds with liquid nitrogen and shatter them to pieces using the Survival Perk, 8 customisable items for the Freezthrower and Wasteland Armour cosmetic uniform, with 5 different skin styles.
An Xbox One X version will be enhanced with full 4k support, increased performance, high-resolution textures, shadow maps and increased shadow-fade-out distance.
Killing Floor 2 follows on from the events of Killing Floor, taking players to continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union.
