Killing Floor 2‘s free update which includes the Descent Content Pack is now available for download on PS4 and PC, developer Tripwire Interactive has announced.
A significant update for Killing Floor 2, the Descent Content Pack is free to all players and contains two brand-new maps (Descent and community made Nuked) along with two brand-new weapons including the return of Spitfires and the addition of the Stoner 63a LMG to help players in disposing of hordes of Zeds.
The Descent map introduces the new Holdout sub-mode into Survival and will drop players into a new random battle location each wave, making them vulnerable to the horrific Zeds hoping to catch them off-guard and the Nuked map, is a community made map.
To celebrate the release of Killing Floor 2‘s latest update, the developer is making the digital version of the game available at a 33% on the North American PlayStation Store from today through to March 28th and at a 50% discount on Steam with a free weekend starting March 23rd.
Additionally, players will also be able to trial the game on PS4 from today.
