Marvel Heroes Omega PS4 Closed Beta Starts Today, Local Co-op Feature Announced

A Closed Beta for Gazillion’s upcoming free-to-play Marvel Heroes Omega begins today on PS4, the developer has announced.

Partially inspired by popular action-RPG’s and MMORPG’s and packed with non-stop action, Marvel Heroes Omega is scheduled to launch on PS4 and Xbox One this spring, with a Closed Beta available now for players who have purchased one of the titles many ‘Founder Packs’ via the PlayStation Store.

Marvel Heroes Omega‘s Closed Beta is scheduled to run until May 15th, 2017, with a PS4 Open Beta and Closed Beta for Xbox One users to be announced shortly.

Additionally, via a press release, we also learn that participating players in the Closed Beta will be able to experience Marvel Heroes Omega in couch co-op with a friend, with the feature being introduced from today.

There’s never been a better time to be a Marvel fan,” said David Von Dorman, CEO at Gazillion. “With so many exciting films, television shows, and comics coming soon, we’re beyond excited to be able to bring the characters, costumes, and adventures of the Marvel Universe to life in living rooms around the world. Marvel Heroes Omega has been a true passion project and labor of love for everyone here at Gazillion — and we can’t wait for players to experience it for the first time themselves on consoles.”

All players regardless of whether or not they purchase a Founder Pack will be treated to Hells Kitchen’s finest – Daredevil as a free playable character when the game officially launches.

Marvel Heroes Omega is scheduled to launch on PS4 and Xbox One this spring.
