Mass Effect: Andromeda Holds on for Second Week at No.1 in UK Sales Charts

Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda has kept its place at No.1 in the latest UK video game chart standings for a second straight week.

Released for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 23rd in the United Kingdom, Andromeda equals Mass Effect 2 record by holding onto the No.1 spot for a second week running, something Mass Effect 3 couldn’t achieve.

The only new entry this week sees Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix make a strong debut at No.4 following the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter in week 4 this year. Since its inception in 2002 with Kingdom Hearts on PS2, there have been 11 Kingdom Heart games released as boxed products in the UK.

Elsewhere, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands spends a second consecutive week at No.2 with Lego Worlds also holding station at No.3.

Watch Dogs 2 is the biggest climber this week, moving up 11 places to No.17, while re-entries in the chart this week see Destiny: The Collection in at No.24 and Ubisoft’s tactical shooter Tom Clancy Rainbow 6: Siege re-enters the chart at No.25.
