Middle-earth: Shadow of War Gets a Pair of Light-Hearted TV Spots

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a pair of humorous live-action TV spots for upcoming open-world RPG Middle-earth: Shadow of War, highlighting the game’s newly improved Nemesis System.

The first video entitled “Eat It Jerry” tells the tale of a long-running feud between Norûk and Jerry as the pair clash at different points in Jerry’s life. The feud we see played out on screen is a perfect illustration of how the Nemesis System feature in Middle-earth workswith nothing forgotten. The second video, “Not Today Brian” depicts Thrak’s eternal loyalty to his friend and ally Brian as he saves his long-time friend at various points in his life, before having his own life saved in-game by Brain who is playing from his couch.

Although comedic in nature, both TV spots are a great example of how Shadow of War‘s Nemesis System works as the player forges long term relationships or feuds with Orcs in a game where every battle and encounter is remembered.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War releases worldwide on October 10th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
