Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Gets an Incredibly Short Gameplay Teaser Showcasing Dragon Riding

Following an unfortunate leak by U.S retailer Target last week, publisher Warner Bros lifted the lid on Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, the follow-up to Monolith Production’s 2014’s critically acclaimed game Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

With an August release date already confirmed for consoles and PC, Warner Bros pledged to present a full gameplay reveal on March 8th, in the meantime, the developer offered the smallest of glimpses into what to expect from Shadow of War, and by small, we mean a mere handful of seconds.

During the incredibly short video, Tarion, Shadow of Mordor‘s returning character can clearly be seen riding a dragon. With new gameplay mechanics set to be introduced, it’s possible that players might actually be able to ride and tame dragons in-game.

Things should become a little clearer with tomorrow’s gameplay reveal for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, which we’re hoping might last a little longer than the below video.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
