Nintendo Apologises for Switch Stock Shortages; More Shipments Coming in July and August

Nintendo has apologised for the shortage of stock for Nintendo Switch.

Following its worldwide release on March 3rd this year, consumers have been unable to purchase the hybrid console due to a significant shortage of supplies globally, something the Japanese electronics giant hopes to put right with new stock confirmed to arrive throughout July and August.

We sincerely apologize to our customers and dealers for their inconvenience,” says Nintendo. “Currently, we continue to ship every week, we are working to deliver more than one product to customers. Also, in July and August, we will increase shipment volume this month, including continued shipment of “Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 set“.

Looking forward, Nintendo is planning for Autumn and beyond by strengthening its production system to ensure it ships as many products as possible between now and the end of the year to consumers.
