Nintendo has detailed an upcoming beta for it’s Nintendo Switch fighter, ARMS.
The Global Testpunch will be available for play in North America from May 26th to May 28th and from June 2nd to June 4th. Europe will also get in on the punchy action on May 27th and 28th, and June 3rd and 4th. However, like with the Splatoon 2 Testfire, the app to play it is already available for download from the Nintendo eShop.
Also unveiled at the same event for ARMS, was a parade of new details involving new characters, arms and their attributes, mini games that will lead to acquiring more arms. The title will also be taking a page out of recent multiplayer titles and be releasing more characters, stages, and arms after launch for free. ARMS is looking to make a splash when it releases worldwide exclusively on Nintendo Switch on June 16th.
However, it wasn’t the only title to get new details in Nintendo’s latest Direct video. The marine shooter Splatoon 2 showed off a trailer about a new single-player campaign for those who prefer to paint the battlefield alone. No other information was given during the Splatoon 2 segment. Splatoon 2 will be releasing on Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 21st.
