Red Barrels has released 2 new terrifying trailers and a batch of screenshots for its upcoming follow-up to 2014 breakout hit Outlast ahead of its worldwide release next week for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Far from the horrors that spawned within the depths of Mount Massive Asylum in Outlast, Outlast 2 takes players to the unsettling desert plains of Arizona as cameraman Blake Langermann searches for his wife after the helicopter the pair are riding in crashes in the night.
Partly inspired by the 1978 Jonestown Massacre, Outlast 2 looks every bit as terrifying as its predecessor as we can see in the 2 trailers above for the digital and physical release Outlast Trinity, a pack that bundles the first 2 titles along with Outlast‘s Whistleblower DLC.
In addition to the recently shared trailers, Red Barrels have also released an equally scary batch of new screenshots for Outlast 2 which you can view in the gallery below.
Outlast 2 and Outlast Trinity launch April 25th. Be sure to look out for our full review on April 24th at 8:00 p.m BST.
