Payday 2 in Development for Nintendo Switch

Overkill Software’s cooperative first-person shooter Payday 2 is in development for Nintendo Switch, Starbreeze AB has announced.

Other than the fact it’ll include multiplayer, little is known about the fresh version of the four-year-old game that tasks players to work together as masked villains in order to complete various heists; defending their stolen loot against a swarm of heavily armed forces before spending their cash on upgrades and items.

Following its release in 2013, Payday 2 has been further developed with more than 140 paid and free updates on PC and a community boasting more than 4.6 million members on Steam.

Payday 2 is available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PC, and now Nintendo Switch, expected to arrive sometime in 2017.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
