PlayStation Boss Yoshida Confirms Infamous Devs New IP is Still Happening

Despite its disappointing absence at the Convention Center in Los Angeles earlier this month at PlayStation’s E3 Briefing, Infamous and Sony-owned developer Sucker Punch’s new game is still in the works, according to Shuhie Yoshida.

Speaking on the Gamespot stage at E3 2017 PlayStation Worldwide Studios boss said: “I have played many, many more times of such game; and every time I play … I shouldn’t be talking anymore. It is a game. They are not making movies. It is now very narrow.”

Reportedly, Sucker Punch’s new game, which is not a new Infamous entry was playable internally going as far back as 2015 according to PlayStation’s Scott Rohde, who is quoted to have played a very early version of the game with Yoshida.

Sony owned studio Sucker Punch’s last outing came back in 2014 with Infamous: First Light.
