Sony has announced that it will host a media showcase at Paris Games Week on October 30th.
Sony will forgo Gamescom in Cologne in favour of a showcase event in Paris, France in October where it will likely show off a batch of its upcoming titles via trailers and gameplay footage. Whilst Sony didn’t host a conference last year, it did in 2015 where it announced Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and Detroit: Become Human.
The PlayStation conference will take place on October 30 at 16:00 pm GMT and although Sony isn’t giving the game away just yet on what will be included in its Media Showcase in Paris, we can likely expect more information on Horizon Zero Dawn‘s upcoming expansion The Frozen Wilds along with a slew of other PlayStation specific titles Detroit: Become Human, Days Gone and Santa Monica Studios’ God of War.
Unlike Microsoft who will hold a conference and showcase the Xbox One X via hands-on booths at Gamescom, Sony has elected to once again sidestep the biggest European expo on the calendar and will instead, appear in Paris just weeks before its annual PlayStation Experience celebration in California, USA in November.
Paris Games Week 2017 officially runs November 1-5 at the Porte de Versailles.
