[Rumour] PS4 Exclusive Days Gone Release Date Possibly Outed by Austrian Retailer

Video game release date leaks are beginning to become a more familiar theme online of late, with Destiny 2‘s now confirmed September 8th release date a recent leak; outed by GameStop Italy, just last week.

Sony Bend’s open-world post-apocalyptic game and PS4 Exclusive – Days Gone was one of PlayStation’s best-looking games when it was first revealed during its E3 2016 presser last June, and is the latest in a recent list of titles to have its release date potentially revealed.

Austrian online retailer GamesOnly currently has the game with an August 22nd, 2017 release, detailing Days Gone as follows:

In a world devastated by a global pandemic, St. John avoids the supposedly safe camps in the wilderness set up by the last survivors of mankind and seeks his luck on the destroyed streets.

Take on the role of the former biker-outlaw Deacon St. John: a drummer, head-hunter, wandering representative of the last people.

Located in front of the jagged, volcanic background of the Pacific Northwest coast, Days Gone invites you to explore a world haunted by degenerate human monsters , the Freakers.

Fight your way through the desolate landscape in search of supplies, raw materials and, above all, a reason to live on.

The potential leak has Days Gone releasing on a Tuesday, which is a typical release date in North America and often in Europe, this by no way confirms an actual release for the game.

Of course, the leaked date could and most likely is a placeholder for an upcoming game and as such, we encourage readers to take this information with a large grain of salt.

With E3 2017 almost upon us, it’s more than likely we’ll see more of Days Gone during PlayStation’s conference, where we might finally learn of the games release date. Until then check out some footage of Days Gone running in 4K below.
