Sniper Elite developer Rebellion Entertainment today announced a PC Beta for Battlezone ahead of its long-awaited release for Oculus Rift and now, HTC Vive.
Available from April 19th for a limited number of Oculus Rift and HTC Vive users, Battlezone‘s Closed Beta will run for one week, with registration open and available until Thursday, April 13th.
During the Closed Beta, players will be able to experience all improvements available now on PSVR following its launch last year, with all of Battlezone‘s paid customisable content set to become available via Steam and the Oculus Store.
The new PC version of Battlezone is optimised for Oculus and HTC Vive, offering new features such as ultra-high resolution textures, customizable super-sampling, higher resolution shadow maps and Oculus Touch compatibility.
Battlezone delivers a complete gaming experience built from the ground up for VR. With hours of thrilling, futuristic tank warfare, a procedurally generated campaign for 1-4 players and drop-in drop-out online co-op.
Battlezone will be available at both the Steam and the Oculus Store soon.
