Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to Spring 2018

It will be a little bit longer before you can put some giddyup into your step, as Rockstar Games have announced a delay to its highly anticipated open-world game Red Dead Redemption 2.

Originally expected to release this holiday for the PS4 and Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption 2 will now launch early 2018 with the developer citing that it will be the first title “created from the ground up for the latest generation of consoles” and that “some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans“. Additionally, more details about the game have been teased to come later this summer.

News about this delay isn’t without an extra peek at Red Dead Redemption 2, as a collection of screenshots have been made available for your viewing in the gallery down below.

The latest screenshots showcase some of the different environments we can expect to explore in addition to the level of detail achieved so far.

Stephen has been an avid gamer for nearly 25 years, fighting alongside caped crusaders, Jedi, and biotic Asari along the way. He likes to try new things but frequently comes back to Overwatch.
