Resident Evil 7‘s Beginning Hour demo has only been available on Steam for a matter of days, and already users have extensively mined the demo for precious data, revealing a wealth of possible details for the upcoming survival horror title.
If the following leaked details turn out to be true, which they usually tend to, then this article will contain MAJOR SPOILERS for the seventh iteration in the long-standing survival horror series. So, if you wish to avoid ruining the game for yourself, turn away now. If not, feel free to read on after the image.
OK, let’s get into it. Diligent hackers scouring through the code for Resident Evil 7‘s Beginning Hour demo revealed a list of file names pointing to the return of long-time Resident Evil antagonist, Albert Wesker, possibly revealing Wesker as the games final boss.
Of course, this could be a completely different Albert, but it’s highly unlikely given that the antagonist features prominently throughout the series.
The following files pulled together by NeoGaf user Jawmuncher detail each file with the name Albert included.
Additional mining of the demo revealed further information regarding Resident Evil 7‘s usable weapons in addition to outlining 4 future pieces of downloadable content.

If the leak is to be believed then Resident Evil 7 will also feature 4 separate DLC Packs post-launch:
DLC 1-1: A puzzle-focused gameplay chapter where players will likely answer riddles and other types of puzzles. Almost seems entirely puzzle focused.
DLC 1-2: A card game? Apparently, some card game you can play either in a story mode way or an endless mode with some type of reward you get. Specifics not clear, but includes mechanics like bluff, and some sort of in-game droppable based on your performance.
DLC 1-3: Wave-Based Survival Mode. seems to have multiple stages, and 10 waves for each map.
DLC 1-4: A proper miniature story chapter with you in a place with Lucas it seems. Also seems to have three endings based on something you do in this chapter.
