An updated version of Resident Evil Revelations will launch on August 29th for Xbox One and PS4 with a Nintendo Switch release penned for late 2017, Capcom has announced.
Capcom’s acclaimed survival horror title which stars series veterans, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, as they investigate the seemingly abandoned cruise ship Queen Zenobia was met well when it debuted in 2012 with a release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC and 3DS.
Now updated for release on PS4 and Xbox One, Resident Evil Revelations features 1920x1080p resolution, improved framerate, increased environmental detail and refined creature movement, 4 different control schemes and all previously released DLC. Raid Mode also makes a return, allowing players to team up with a friend to take on hordes on enemies including “The Ghost Ship Chaos” a new take on the popular stage.

Capcom also confirmed that a Nintendo Switch release of both Resident Evil Revelations and 2015 follow up Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also be available late 2017.
