It’s been over a decade since Rockstar Vancouver’s open-world adventure game Bully released, but the classic schoolyard tale of one seriously troublesome kid could be about to get a long-awaited sequel if reports are to be believed.
A sequel to Bully or Canis Canem Edit as it’s known in PAL regions will follow Red Dead Redemption 2, scheduled to release in Fall of 2017, according to a post on the Offical GTA Forums by insider Yan2295, a respected user of the community.
Posting on the Bully Forum, the Grand Theft Auto insider wrote: “Bully 2 is indeed in development and is supposed to be the next game after RDR2.”
Rockstar Games is well known for keeping tight-lipped regarding the studio’s future projects and has shared no information following the release of Red Dead Redemption 2‘s trailer in October of 2016, leaving many fans to question if the game might be delayed past its original Fall 2017 release date.
This is also not the first time a sequel to the 2006 third-person adventure game has been talked up with Rockstar Games Co-Founder Dan Houser teasing a sequel 5 years ago that would have launched after the release of Max Payne 3, however, no sequel materialised and in 2013 the studio released Grand Theft Auto V.
