Rumour: Destiny 2 Release Date Leaked by GameStop Italy; Beta Allows PS4 Players Early Access

A poster leaked earlier today by GameStop Italy might have confirmed a release date for the follow-up to Destiny.

The second entry in the series developed by Halo developer Bungie was always likely to release sometime in 2017 for consoles and PC, with publisher Activision stating on multiple occasions that the follow-up to the 2014 title would launch this year, it would seem now that Destiny 2 will arrive September 8th, at least in Europe.

Earlier today, GameStop Italy leaked a poster of the game (which you can view below) which leads us to believe that Destiny 2 will become available this coming September for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with PS4 owners likely to receive early access to the game via a beta rumoured to begin this June.

As of yet, neither Activision nor Bungie has announced a release date for Destiny 2, but following the latest leak, we’d expect one to arrive sooner rather than later.
