Today BadLand Games announced a partnership with developer Alawar Premium and Octopus Tree to bring its award-winning sandbox action-adventure game Goliath to PS4 and Xbox One as a digital release later this year.
Released on May 12th, 2016 for PC, Goliath sees players take up residence in a new and strange world filled with giant monsters after stumbling through a mysterious rift.
Through exploration of their found new home, players will be able to construct their own Goliath’s in a bid to take on the giant roaming monsters through the collection of various materials, blueprints, crafting tools and everything else lying around.
With procedurally generated open world’s featuring rolling prairies, dense forests, eerie swamps and frozen tundras, each teaming with monsters, Goliath will have players embarking on quests while enduring a mixture of dynamic weather and a day/night cycle.
Giant monsters aren’t the only threat to players either. Choosing wisely, players can align themselves with a faction in order to broker peace deals or accelerate an inevitable war, with each faction offering a distinct strategic advantage when it comes to weaponry or Goliath blueprints.
Goliath will release later in 2017 for Xbox One and PS4.
