Sega has shown off some new details for the upcoming Sonic title Sonic Forces.
Two new videos have been shown, one showcasing a new Chemical Plant stage where Hero Characters, Sonic and his entire crew can jump, zip, collect rings, and bust enemy robots while avoiding trains. The video offered shows a custom Hero Character zipping along with the assistance of a grappling hook and drill arm. The footage is free of any UI pieces, but still, showcases a switch between Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic perspective.
The other video introduces a new boss, Infinite. While the fight itself is ongoing, the video shows the Hero Character swapping out for a “Rental Avatar”. Using the Rental Avatar, players can swap with other Hero Characters made across the world and take on their abilities and gear. It is unclear if there is a limit to how often the feature can be used, but swaps can be made at any point during gameplay.
Sonic Forces will be releasing worldwide on November 7th for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs.
