Andrew House Stepping Down as President of Sony Interactive Entertainment

Sony’s Andrew House is stepping down from his role as president of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

House, who will now move to become the director of SIE, joined Sony back in 1995 where he would help to launch the original PlayStation console before overseeing the successful launch of the PlayStation 4, VR and PS4 Pro.

Replacing House as SIE president will be John Kodera, the current deputy president though House will stay on for the remainder of 2017 to ensure a “smooth transition“.

PlayStation has been a huge part of my life for more than 20 years but with the business having achieved record-breaking success, now seemed to be the right time for me to pursue new challenges,” said House in a statement.

Dan has been gaming for nearly 30 years and has survived everything from Nuclear Fallouts to Zombie Outbreaks but his main love is Survival Horror and don't we all know it. Favourite games include Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto, he can be regularly found cruising the streets of Vice City listening to the classics.
