Publisher Square Enix has announced Lost Sphear, the next title from I Am Setsuna developer Toyko RPG Factory, coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC via Steam early 2018.
A new JRPG in development by Tokyo RPG Factory, Lost Sphear features the story of a young boy, Kanata, who awakens from a devastating dream to find his remote hometown disappearing. To prevent the world around him from becoming lost forever, the young protagonist and his friends will set out to rebuild the world through the power of Memory, which manifests thoughts into matter.
Lost Sphear will expand on the features from the studio’s debut title, I Am Setsuna (2016) and will include a revamped ATB battle system where players can strategize and freely adjust their placement mid-fight, seamless environments, and many different locations to explore.
Lost Sphear will be available digitally from the PlayStation Store, Nintendo Switch eShop, and Steam, and will also be available as a physical package exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
