Star Wars Battlefront II Launches November 17th Worldwide for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Today during the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida, Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars Battlefront II, the follow up to 2015’s Battlefront will release worldwide on November 17th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Star Wars Battlefront II will build upon the foundations of 2015’s largely multiplayer experience – Star Wars Battlefront, with an exciting single player campaign that allows players to experience an untold story through the eyes of Iden Versio, an Imperial elite special forces soldier along with the chance to play as both Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren in an epic story that takes place in the 30 years between the destruction of Death Star II and through the rise of the First Order.

In addition to a new single-player campaign set in the Star Wars universe, epic multiplayer battles will also make a return in Battlefront II, with players able to engage in fast and frenetic dogfights high in the sky as well as fight below on the ground across multiple iconic locations from franchise history, with classic ground troopers, iconic heroes and villains such as Yoda and Darth Maul all playable online.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be available worldwide on November 17th, 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and on Origin for PC. Players looking to get their hands on the game early can do just that 3 days early by purchasing Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition, or by accessing the Play First Trials on EA Access and Origin Access starting November 9th.
