Sairento VR, a first-person hybrid shooter and sword fighting VR RPG set in a reimagined future Japan, is now available on Early Access via Steam for HTC Vive, developer Mixed Realms has announced.
Based in Singapore, Sairento VR is the first game developed by independent studio Mixed Realms that aims to provide engaging and visually stunning first-person sword-fighting and gunplay as players assume the role of a futuristic ninja to take on scores of enemies, with upgradeable weaponry and skills, innovative gameplay, intuitive controls, mission-based levels, menacing enemies and beautiful environments in a fight to restore order to the world.
Within days of its release, Sairento VR garnered more than a thousand purchases and received a 98% positive rating, with fans complimenting the game for its unique gameplay and graphical style, which must be music to the studio’s ears when you consider the lack of marketing involved prior to Sairento‘s launch.
“We wanted to treat players to an exhilarating and visceral VR experience, from being able to perform double jumps to taking down foes in a ballet of slow motion gunplay,” said Chalit Noonchoo, Creator and Lead Developer of Sairento VR.
Sairento VR is available now at a 25% discount on Early Access via Steam for HTC Vive.
