Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version Available on PS4 and PSV May 30th

Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version, an upcoming free-to-play version of Toukiden 2 that sees players worldwide take on players from the full version will release digitally on May 30th for PS4 and PS Vita, Koei Tecmo has announced.

From May 30th, players will be able to experience the diverse, action-packed gameplay of the Toukiden series for free with Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version, a free-to-play title that allows players to take on Group Missions offered at the Command Center where they can team up with four other companions from across the globe to slay the monstrous beasts from various Ages.

Stamina plays a key role in Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version, allowing players to explore and carry out missions in the surrounding areas of Maharoba Village, with each player starting with a Stamina Level of 3.

Players not wanting to wait eight real-time hours for a unit of Stamina to replenish before being able to jump back into the action can spend Gems purchasable at the Slayer’s Headquarters via the PlayStation Store, with the ability to further increase Stamina to Level 8 available.

Further upgrades are also possible to the Equipment and Material Chests which allow for an abundance of items to be stored, as well as the ability to draw Mitama Tickets – items used to obtain the souls of fallen heroes which provide new combat possibilities when applied to armor and weaponry.

Additionally, players will also be able to enjoy the full title’s compelling narrative by playing through the first chapter of Toukiden 2, with Save Data transferable between the free and full version for players who opt to purchase 2016’s Toukiden 2 at a later date.

Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version will be available to download on PS4 and PSV on May 30th, 2017.
